I remember my dad letting me borrow his 84 vette when I was 20(now I'm 30) & I beat the **** out of that car & thought I was hot chit.I also knew I had to have one.I'm sure your son said he will baby it,but he will do some WOT runs in it especially with his buddy in the car.My daughter will probley do the same when shes old enough to drive.I don't mind as if it can't handle it I don't want it.Plus its her car too as she'll get everything of mine someday anyway.By the way, make sure to teach him about how low it is & how to approach driveways/steep downhill grades so he don't wreck or scrape the body/underside-this is assuming hes never driven it.If you upgrade to the later year headlight motors/assemblies,they are much more reliable
