I did research the point. I saw the thread where that guy cut open the Corsa and proved that on each muffler only 1 port is FULLY operational and the other one is slightly operational allowing only a minimal amount of exhaust to come out. He also proved this by blocking off the 2 fully operational ports and putting tissue paper on the 2 that had minimal exhaust coming out and proved that there was some exhaust coming out. Therefore, I did my research. I just wasn't clear on my post due to the fact that I didn't want to type all of this out.

Here's what you originally posted which prompted my 'research" post: "So thats the reason only one outlet on each side works on my Corsa exhaust system. [B] Then, in a later post:
"[B]I saw the thread where that guy cut open the Corsa and proved that on each muffler only 1 port is FULLY operational and the other one is slightly operational allowing only a minimal amount of exhaust to come out."
So, we moved from 'only one outlet on each side works' TO 'only 1 port FULLY operational and the other one is slightly operational . . .'
I try to pay attention to what folks write and I can usually comprehend what's written. Many times, however, I find it about impossible to comprehend what they MEANT to write.

I basically wrote that initially because the exhaust that does come out the outer tips of my Corsa is very close to nothing. In my latter post I got more specific. Sorry for any confusion I caused anyone.
The Outer tips are not Fake, Dummy, Decorative or Just For Looks, they are exhaust tips that let a tiny bit of exhaust gas exit for Whatever Reason which make the Corsa's Sound Great and be Droneless.
Here's the video.
To the OP, measure your 0-60 mph times with an iphone "Dynolicious" Ap or "G Tech" to find out how much HP loss with the one Borla Tip plugged.
I didn't believe it until I tried it... plugging one of the tips exiting the Borla muffler cut exhaust noise and drone dramatically! I bought two 2" pipe plugs, had to rework them a bit, and tightened them into the two inside pipes. I am truly amazed at the noise reduction! Was a little concerned that the plastic plug would melt, but since no exhaust is flowing through the pipe, the tip is barely warm. The car is so quiet now I'm hearing all the squeaks and rattles and would almost like it a little louder!
1) Can this damage the engine or mufflers in any way?
2) Any idea how much of a power loss I'll get plugging one of the tips?
3) Has anyone used a preforated restrictor pipe inside one or both of the tips to reduce drone but preserve the rumble?
In any case, I would do what Corsa did and leave a few small holes so some exhaust can pass through. Don't completely close it off.
Why not plug it one tip completely? Maybe something to do with allowing moisture inside the muffler up to the plugged tip to evaporate?
If plugged completely, the tip stays pretty cool since no exhaust escapes and low-temp materials can be used for the plug. If partially open, the restrictions need to be able to handle the full heat of the exhaust gas.
I tried some washers with 3/4" holes to partially close the inside tips but that didn't cut noise and drone by much. Perhaps washers with a smaller hole and/or some SS wool stuffed in the tube upstream of the washer would let out moisture but be a little quieter.
So my dynomax super turbo mufflers are as good as the corsa? most of my exhaust only comes out of one tip, some comes out other, but no where near as much, and it doesn't drone in the car at any rpm... They aren't $1300 either..

I'm pointing to the blocked outlet as an attempt to create a Helmholtz Resonator.
Corsa's approach is similar but also supports your "theory" that all four outlets function.

Seems like they are as long as they are 100% stainless steel and sound the same. Other than that yes.
Hey, has anyone tried these Venturi parts on a c5 (or other vette) to silence the Borla drone? If so, where did you install them in the exhaust and what were your results like?
When JeffVette cut that Corsa open there was more than one person standing with a light blub over their head!
So in summary; GM did the same thing with the OEM mufflers?
Ah yes .... I remember that post from about 8 or 9 years ago. JeffVette was an interesting fellow. Have not seen nor heard from him in years. He was the on that I bought my GM C4 spare tire delete bracket from. At the time he had a half dozen or so of them.
From his post is was VERY CLEAR that one of the outlets of each muffler was nearly plugged -- but not completely so -- and it was felt that this was one of the engineering aspects that lead to the CORSA being the only aftermarket LT1 dual exhaust system with no drone.
