Car won't shut off...

How could we possibly know? You do the same thing you did to get this thread started.
Most likely your engine won't shut off (I guess that's your problem) because the ign switch isn't making it to the off position. The ignition switch is operated by a rod from the ign lock and the ign sw is located behind the dash. Check the rod.
