Help Needed: 16" wheel fitment
Our 1995 has the J55 (13") rotors on the front. We are looking for 11" wide fronts and rears, 16" diameter, that will properly fit the rotors and calipers.
If any of you gentlemen have accomplished this, would you mind replying with wheel manufacturer, model, and backspace?
Thanks,
Ed LoPresti

J55/GS 13" calipers will clear a stock 16" (Enkei only ) rim
C5 calipers won't clear a stock 17" sawblade which is why most fit

To clarify, the C4 in question already has a set of the J55 front rotors/calipers installed, and our plan is to leave them for now. The immediate task is to fit 11" x 16" wheels on all four corners.
rodj,
I could tell from a search that Enkei 16"ers are the only OEM that clear these rotors and calipers. Do you know if Enkei makes an 11" X 16" wheel that will work for this scenario? And, if so, do you also know the front and rear backspaces or off-sets?
I appreciate any additional information.
Ed
Guys are running 11" ( in a 17" ) on the front so width is not a problem

Your problem first up is so even find a 16 x11 rim
Enkei is a major rim maker contracted by GM for the C4 rims but their current listing show 10.5 in a 18" as the widest they make.
All their 16" are 8" max
Apparently, there are few (or no) off-the-shelf wheels that are 11" x 16", and fit the front with the 13" calipers. SO -- does anyone know the exact backspace and INNER RIM diameter of those 8" x 16" that did, in fact, fit over the J55 rotors and calipers?
TIA,
Ed
