Hey guys need the rear spring bushings anyways and saw this lowering blot/bushing kit, will this look weird if i dont touch the front end and just lower it in the back.and if anyone used this kit and how it looks.pics wld be a plus if anyone has some
A lot of members including myself have just lowered the rear using the longer 12" bolts.
Just remember to leave the rear a little higher to give the stance a little rake like stock. Also, lower it with a full tank of fuel since it'll affect the measurement and get an alignment when you're done.
ok guys thanks alot yeah looks good,so i can just go out to the store in get bolts and buy the bushings seperate it looks like as its 4o from ecklers plus shipping and the bushings are 16 a set and bolts are prolly only a couple bucks?
lowering the front can have it draw-backs, too. My son's 96 LT1 is lowered in both the front and rear and he knocked off his Corsa exhaust when he drove over a drain protrusion at a local gasoline station.
If was the front of the exhaust that caught on the protrusion.
Speed bumps become a problems too. So it's a mixed bag - makes the car look good but you'd really have to be careful when you drive over things.
