I have done the Trans, injectors, Prom, fuel pump, filters, regulator, ignition so what now? The car has a ZZ4 motor with a 3.07 gear, the trans has a 2800rpm stall. It gets off the line real strong and pulls hard but needs more midrange pull and more top end.

If you're still running the stock intake manifold, that would be the next thing to change.

It has the Holley throttle body and I cut open the airbox but the intake base, runners and plentum are factory. So what do I need to do, where do I get the parts you are suggesting and what will it do for me?

A miniram is like an LT1 intake manifold. I have a Superram on my 86. What these intakes do is allow your engine to make more power at higher rpm. The stock intake makes power up to 4000 and then starts dropping off. Aftermarket intakes will make power up to 5500 to 6000 depending on the rest of your engine.

600-1300 depends on what deal you find. Try to find a miniram version 2. Don't forget to add gears if you do the intake, then you will have a whole different car.

I already know I am going to build a motor for the car so would I just be better off tho wait? I know a bunch of you guys love the 383 but I like the 434ci 23* SBC. We run these motors on airboats and they make a sick amount of torque for their weight. I want to learn as much as I can from the site before I start building a motor so I don't spend money on stuff that will not work for my application.
