Default Need help 84 vette problems

hey guys im new to cf and just thought i would ask yall for some help.
I recently got my granddads 1984 corvette and it has a lot of issues

first of all something is draining the battery of all its juice and i cant seem to figure out what it is. i had a battery that was only a year old and connected it to the car and i got it to crank but it didnt turn over.

the next day i tried to get it to start again but this time it didnt even crank. none of the electronics were working so i took the battery to walmart to get it replaced and after that it worked fine.

the next day i had the same problem so again i took it to walmart and the replaced it again. after connecting the battery to the car every thing continued to work electronically. i then disconected the battery

after using a volt meter to measure the amps running through another car of mine it measured at 1A. i then measured the corvettes and saw that it came out around 37A.

so i now know that there is something definently draining the battery. i then started to pull fuses out of the fuse box individualy and then measure the amps. after pulling every single fuse from the box it still registerd at 37 amps and it was getting dark so i just unconnected the battery again and gave up.

also the last time the car was ran was over 2 years ago so all of the fluids have turned to crap.

thanks for any help!

84 has several power links coming off the starter terminal that do not run through fuses ( have fusible links on wires by starter ).Disconnect and check draw on those idividually
Long shot ; try disconnecting the headlight motors. When old the motors do not hit the limit switch and continue to draw power, even with lights off. That was a drain on mine that took a while to track down

Make sure when you're checking the draw that you allow the courtesy lights to time out with the timer. After the lights go out you can get an accurate reading.

Another possible source is the power antenna. If it is not retracting completly it will continue to draw power.

I had a bad oil pressure switch (on my early 84) that caused the fuel pump to keep running even with the key out. They had a mid year change of the switch.
I think behind the info center there are some fuses too.
