Default No Backup Lights?

Just noticed that the backup lights on my 92, manual, are not working. I have checked the fuse, backup switch (on Trans) and all the bulbs. Everything seems to check out, FSM indicates to check adjustment of backup switch, but it only screws into trans with no adjustments? Anyone have any advice as to how to adjust the switch or what to try?
PS. I have the 1-4 skip shift eliminator installed, could that affect the backup lights?

Crawl under the car with an ohmmeter and check the switch in reverse compared to any other gear. The circuit should be closed in reverse. If it is, your problem is elsewhere. If not, remove/replace the switch.
