OK, I have a problem with these 3-black support bars left on the rebuild of my 92 LT-1. I have the one in place that goes from the A/C bracket to the header stud. I can't seem to figure out where the other two go. Any thoughts?

You actually have two for the A/C and one for the Alternator.

One end connects to the lower, out board hole on the compressor and the other end attaches to the second exhaust manifold stud - there are TWO braces on that stud.

The alternator bracket connects to the second exhaust stud to the back of the alternator.

Default Thanks!

Are all these really needed? I am running headers and don't think I can get two braces on one bolt. I had to thin the one brace and shim a littlle so I would have enough threads to hold good.

I didn't put them back on when I did some head work on my 92, no issues and now the AC compressor is gone so I didn't worry about any of those when I did my headers
