Rebuild L98 ?

Is it worth it to even rebuild my L98 into a 383 or just buy a new block? Currently the L98 has a spun bearing so its toast.

If it is a spun main, get a new or used core. If it is a spun rod, remachining a new or replacement used block is typically less expensive than new. Most machinists are not thrilled with the GM machining, and want to touch up a new block too.
