I'm currently building a 434 cu in Dart block for my C4. I plan to run 48-55# injectors and was told that I won't be able to run my stock computer with that large an injector. The Speed-Pro FAST computer is over $2,200, but I've heard it does wonders; like a smoothe idle with an aggresive adjustment when one stomps on it. Also, great to program. I know the old Accel computer will work, but very secondary to the Speed-Pro. Is the FAST computer really worth the $2,200 or would I be just as well off getting the Accel or the new Holly box.
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated... :) :) :)
I've been running one in my turbo Buick for the past 2 years and just bought a second for my father's C3. Both with wideband O2. They really are the nuts. My Buick with 96 lb injectors idled like a stocker.
The Holley system is price wise is tough to beat. Holley offers the intake, injectors, fuel rails, throttle body, sensors as a kit $1600+ without the computer and harness. $2300 with the box and harness. You need to add all the parts to the FAST system. It's just the harness, box, C-com program, and wide band sensor.
All of these systems are very capable. I just like the FAST system for the ease of working with it. The wideband O2 sensor makes it very user friendly.
