Default Code 44/13/16 bad plug wire

'93 LT1 - Over the weekend I found a bad spark plug wire that had come off its retainer for the rear passenger side (the bad plug removal one). It had burnt nearly off having been touching the exhaust manifold. I replaced it and it ran ok again. On Monday driving to work with about 20 miles completed the engine light came on. When I got home I pulled the codes and had a 13 and a 16. I thought I may have moved a connector while attaching the new plug wire to the opti, so removed connector and reinstalled using some dielectric grease on the connector. Reset computer by disconnecting the battery. Started engine and let it run and later drove it into town, every thing seemed to be ok. I drove to work today and about 15 miles down the road light came on again. Checked codes at lunch and this time it was just the one, code 44 lean exhaust. I was expecting a rich O2 code as I figured that the sensor may be sooty from the fuel from the one cylinder not burning because of the plug wire. The O2 sensors (Bosch)have about 14,000 miles on them and not sure if just cleaning them would do or replace them. I got them at my NAPA dealer and the had available the Delphi's for few dollars less. Suggestions, other things maybe I should be looking at??? I am also thinking about a better quality spark plug wires such as taylor, accel, msd, ngk, morso, NAPA Belden, etc. The current wires are 7mm wires and I don't think they handle the heat like some of the others. Will going to 8+mm improve the engine(stock)??
