Water pump hose (s) connection question
If not, is there anybody in the near San Antonio area with a 96' I can spend a few minutes under the hood with?
Thanks,
Rick

On the heater core connections, what is the flow direction? does it matter?
On the connection off of the throttle body, how and where does it connect?
How many connections off of the radiator are there, upper and lower ? I have a third connection on the aftermarket "LT1" radiator that I cannot define.
Just to show off what an LT1 and my baby girl looks like in a Jeep...

Thanks,
Rick

Are you actually planning on getting that thing dirty once it's done?
On my 92 LT1, the TB is heated by engine coolant passing through it. However, unless you're driving in freezing weather, you don't need that. There is a hose nipple on either side of the TB, which is in-line to one of the heater hoses. You can just cap them off. (One side is 1/2" and the other is 5/8"). Search the forum for "throttle body bypass" for more info.
FYI, my rad has only an upper and a lower rad hose connection.

Run two hoses to heater core , so long as coolant travels through core , direction doesn't matter
For a pretty engine like yours you will need one of these

Radiator should have top and bottom hoses as well as connection to header tank.
