How about a plastic zip tie with keys zipped somewhere out of sight? I use the duct tape trick before in an area that kinda blends with the silver. Reminds me, I hafta do this for the new truck. Already locked em in once when I accidentally bumped the lock button detailing the doors. Duhhhh EEEEEE!

I just saw an article on the web today about criminals preying on social network sites. I assume forums would be included for car theives.

I have done this before, it only works if you always carry a pocket knife with you. I thought it was a great idea till I needed the key.....

I keep a spare key in my shoe, under the insole. For older cars it works great. Left shoe door key, right shoe ignition key.
