Now the block I am pretty sure came out of a Camaro/TransAm, which means reverse flow cooling I think? is this going to be an issue? Also any guesses as to power output? Or things I should change? No top end parts have been installed yet.
The distributor is stock, would an aftermarket have any advantage? Any suggestions would help! Also will I need a chip burnt or will the car run fine with the stock computer?
I picked this car up for a grand with a cracked block. It is mint other then that. One injector supposedly stuck open and hydro-locked the motor bending a connecting rod and cracking the block. So this 1994 block I found for $1500 and all the top end stuff(heads, intake, etc)came with the car already. So just wanna make sure this combo will work! And hopefully put out around 350-400hp. Any info or suggestions appreciated!

IIRC the L98 has a "wet" intake, the LT1 didn't. I think you have that covered by using the L98 heads and intake. Maybe make sure the coolant passages match betweekn the block and the heads.
One of the engine guys will chime in with a definite answer.
