84 Clutch Replacement
My car has 88k miles and even though the clutch was replaced at about 63k miles, it chatters pretty good.
So, I just went with a stock replacement clutch, pressure plate, T/O bearing & pilot bushing kit.
The flywheels are only about $150.00, so I am changing that also -then everything will be new.
I know that I'll need a puller for the pilot bushing -I will also need one for pulling the flywheel?
I have a shop manual, but just wanted to double check for any tips, shortcuts etc. that any experienced clutch replacers may have.
This will only be my 3rd clutch replacement, but the last one was in a Fiero... the "short cut" was to pull everything out through the driver side wheel well, which actually was pretty slick.
