:mad I have so many gremlins right now I just hope the car doesent burn down!!! heres my current list I'm wondering if the body control module is at fault. most of these simptoms only show up when its raining (clue #1) here goes; 1. The interior lights have a mind of their own they come on and off when they feel like it. More pronounced while raining. 2.cruise control doesent work in the rain. 3.After a heavy rain as I turn the key to start the car the alarm will sound with the car running. I then have to cycle the key to get it to stop. Now this next one Is a PCM problem (I think) I dont have a tach signal the tach is dead and as a result the ASR service light is on I think that if I get the tach signal back ASR should be OK. Any wireing Gurus your thoughts would be apreciated before I attack this thing with my ohm meter.
The wire bundle connector at the firewall is probably your problem. The dieletric grease maybe dried out and/or water is getting in it. Be sure to clean out all the old dieletric grease.
Well guys, I added 2 extra grounds between the engine and the frame when I installed the radio I dont think its a ground problem but I'll re-check the connections (Never assume, right guys?). Merrick I think your probably on to it I figure it has to be where all of these circuits meet I'll check it out. Thanks for your suggestions (keep em' coming) I'll definatly will post my findings.
