Default Which way to go?

My 1990Coupe is about 80% right now all I need to do is replace the seat covers, it has new paint, new tires, new ac, coolant system, transmission, stall converter and everything works. I was thinking about pulling the engine this fall and stroking it to a 383.

Should I pull the motor and do all this or would it be better to sell the car and move to a C5. I was told the C5 is much stronger and a better platform to work from? If I do build the motor I have now I was going to stroke it and get a mini ram intake. I got the car for $4500.00 and I feel I can sell it for a profit right now. What do you guys think? I want to have a vet that can keep up with the new muscle like the camero.

If power is the primary concern, the LS1 in the c5's is a much better starting point. I am not a fan of the rest of the car, but most are.

The C5 is a better platform for your goals to start with.

I have an 89 also. It is heavily modded (see profile) and will run with the newer stuff. I have considered the C-5, however I have a lot of time in my car and have had it scattered all over the garage. I can work on this car, but not sure of the C-5. I am a paint job and carpet kit away from a new car.
I personally like the C-4. You would like the MiniRam!

The C5 is a world of improvements over the C4, just like the C4 is miles ahead of the C3. I believe I am qualified to make these statements too, just look at my sig. And despite how much better of a car the C5 is, I still chose to purchase a C3 last time I bought a Corvette.

once you mod a car forget about getting your money back/value/resale etc. Do it cause you enjoy it otherwise hold off.
