Default dash

i have a 92 coupe and my dash started to mess up on me. just the digital part. first it started to go all haywire and then it started to just turn off then back on. the whole time this happens it blinks "sys" doesnt pop any codes and i am kinda at a loss. now the dash is completly off and it wont come back on. if i could get some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

There is a ground connection in the driver-side footwell, a bolt with black wires on it. If this is loose or dirty, there will be problems like those you mention. This connects to the dash module at pin A7, which of course is buried up in the dash. But, if other dash functions work, this ground is likely ok because the other functions use the same ground. If you are getting no codes from the ccm and this ground is ok, the dash module is likely finished.

There is a salvage yard in PA, www.contemporarycorvette.com, that may have it.
