TPIS and my ECM

In fact, something sounds fishy. No way UPS sends it back to the shipper unless the shipper made a mistake on the address. It sounds like they screwed up somewhere or I would say they never shipped it at all. The lack of a tracking number by UPS would make believe the latter.

I hear ya......this has been a less than smooth situation from the beginning.....this all started by deciding to bring the car to TPIS for a cam swap/final tuning (in early October).....Jim insisted that I pull the ECM out of the car first, send it to them so they could accomodate the PROM for my modifications, send it back to me, then bring the car up there......something about the PROM taking a while since they have to ship it somewhere (they don't have the software anymore for my 85)......this was suppose to streamline the process by not having the car sit up there too long while I was taking vacation time to go to their location from mine..............this just did not pass my sniffer test either.....really disappointing........I have been an extremely faithful customer over the last 8 or 9 years.......I have a stack of TPIS invoices that should make them very happy to hear me call......then again, it's possible......UPS could have easily dropped the ball....Jim (at TPIS) said he expressed his discontent with them......
