Default Adding powered sub to C4 Bose

Even after reading the FAQ on C4 audio install, I'm still unclear on where to tap into the Bose system in my 96 coupe.

I'm installing a powered sub in the rear and would like to tap the wiring in the rear-mounted factory amp for the left and right channels, but am unsure what wires carry the processed signals.

Anybody know the answer? Thanks

I wondered about that to so when I called dr. dons about repairing my factory deck I asked him about wiring a sub to stock system also. It was a long time ago but he said something about the stock Bose wiring being different ohm type and you had to wire in a resister on sub's wiring or you would burn the sub up. Maybe you should call him directly, he could tell you very easily how to wire it. Good Luck Tim

I was thinking of doing the same thing. The stock Bose is a one ohm system. But I think the inputs come into the amps at "line level" and a line level adapter to a POWERED sub should work and what I had planned to do.
