What is the best sealent out there for the intake manifold? I am doing a cam swap so i dont want any vacuum leaks. Any pointers?

Thanks in advance

the black RTV that comes with Fel-pro 1204/5's.
Or just plain black RTV from permatex. Stuff works great! The technique I was shown by my engine builder, is lay a bead, let it skin a few minutes, and go ahead and lay intake down and torque to spec. Let cure 24 hrs. Test.
It actually worked well for me. I also dimpled the mating surfaces for extra bite. example:

Fel-Pro also recommends you use their Pro-Line Fel-Cobond adhesive at several places on the cylinder heads to hold the gaskets in place. Let it set till the gaskets don't move under light pressure before installing the intake base.

Use a good degreaser on mating surfaces before installing the RTV on the ends.

Be sure that the coolant flow restrictors on the gaskets go to the rear of the block.

You should get instructions with your Fel-Pro gasket kit, a tube of their Pro-Line RTV Black is also included.

I have used the orange Peremetex on all my cars with no problems at all.

I also use a small amount on all the intake ports on the heads to hold the gaskets in place.

Make sure to wait 24 hours before starting the car so the Permetex can fully cure.

I used Permatex Copper with excellent results.

This does not apply to the LT1. The intake gaskets on the head's side is dry and should remain that way. No sealant is needed. Just on the front and back sides where the manifold meets the block.

I have tried 3 cans of the stuff and none of them actually dispursed product. Some people love the stuff though. I just can't get a can that works. I'll stick with the RTV.
