How do I stop this???
My theft-deterrent system went off as I was getting out of my car, and now I can't turn it off!
Please tell me there is an easy fix to this.
(Do not have an Owner's manual so I'm lost)

I'll try cycling the door locks.
not to sound dumb, but that just means locking and unlocking, correct?
turning the ignition on doesn't do anything. I was also told to try turning the key back to accessory and still nothing

Yes, lock and unlock with the key. There is a switch for the alarm on the backs of the lock cylinders. Try to leave the key slot in a vertical position when you are through. Sometimes a little angle upon removal can cause alarm issues.
