Can I and how do I unplug and take of the ECM ,I think thats what its called (where the chip is) on my 93 . I want to paint it, thanks for your help as usual Jim.

i think for a 93, it is in the same location for a 92, which is above the car battery. that little black box (on my car) right next to the cruise control module.

qkvette is right. Black box with big 4 connector harness attached to it just above the battery. 3 10mm nuts to undo and then unplug harness after sliding harness cover off. Simple..... :seeya
