Auto Trans Doesn't Shift

When I was driving the car all of a sudden had only half power, oil pressure dropped in half and there was a clicking noise. I put it in neutral and then I had full power again. The noise is gone but now my car wont shift out of first gear. Maybe it only had half power cause it was stuck in 2nd gear??? Torgue converter?? any help appreciated. Thanks.

Did you check the level of your tranny fluid? Smell it to see if it smells burnt. When you say you only had half power was the motor reving up but the car wasn't going like it should?

Also check your motor oil level. Low pressure and clacking could be lifters clattering from low or no oil pressure.
