Just woundering about pros and cons between hooker shortie headers on a 96 LT-4 and T.P.I.S. long tube headers. The car has the hookers on it now with cat back borla exhaust. I'm considering long tube with no cats. Will this be obnoxiously loud for street use? How about performance differences? This will be around 800.00 to 900.00 to make the swap. How about HP to dollar ratio?

Re: Hooker shorties VS long tube headers? (corvette4life)
Welcome to the forum.
The stock exhaust is very good with the stock motor. Start increasing the RWHP and yor need for LT will also increase. You LT only as a finishing tuning tool to max your combination. If you don't do that you could just give me the $800 bucks instead. ;)
