Iron head LT1 Performance Question
I have a set of 374 aluminum heads but I want to send them out for porting and valve work before using them. I also understand that these iron heads flow about the same as the aluminum (or a little better) than the 374's. I'm aware of timing and heat disapation, and don't want to get into that debate. I can't afford $1200 right now for the porting. In the meantime, what would be a good cam and, is the 1.6 rockers feasible? I plan to reuse them on the 374's when the time comes.
