the clutch fork is engaged with the throwout bearing, which because this is a pull type clutch is engaged with the pressure plate.
it is possible, maybe, to undo the bellhousing from the block, and "finesse" the clutch fork free from its mounting stud, and from the throwout bearing as the bellhousing comes off.
A better way is to unscrew the mounting stud from the bellhousing. This allows the bellhousing to come off freely. The mounting stud is the large recessed allen head fastener visible in your picture. Here's the secret I learned the hard way: it unscrews clockwise (INTO) the bellhousing
I am confused about what you said. I should unscrew the allen head bolt thingy and then the bell housing will come off? Does it unscrew like a normal bolt or opposite?
How do I get the rest of the stuff off like the clutch/flywheel

You need to turn the "allen head bolt thingy" clockwise like you are tightening it. This will thread it out of the bell housing.
Then remove the bell housing. From there you can remove the pressure plate, then the flywheel.
I would recommend changing the rear main seal while you are this far into it.
Remove the bolts that secure the bellhousing to the flywheel. Pull back on the bellhousing to release it from the locating pins that are in the block. Rotate the bellhousing counterclockwise until you free the clutch fork from the throwout bearing. Should take all of 10 seconds.
well I got it off. I didn't rotate it as it was not looking like it was going to POP off. So I used an allen socket and turn the bolt clockwise and the screw pushed in abling me to take the bell housing off. I got the flywheel and pressure plate off. Took off the oil pan and took off the rear main seal. Its a one piece seal right?
ok because I took the THING off that has a seal inside of it, that the whole thing went around a part that the flywheel mounts to. Sorry for the no name parts but what can I say.
Congratulations on getting this far. A factory service manual would help make each step easier for you. It is invaluable. I think James Fitchner Chevrolet will give you a great deal on them. Do a search. They had the best price when I ordered one for my C6Z. Good luck, Willie
