You'll have to look at both the A pillar weatherstrip and the targa top weatherstrip and decide which one or if both are old, worn out, compressed. The easiest and cheapest to replace would be the targa w.s., but sometimes you just have to do them all.
A door glass adjustment could help some. Letting the glass come up a bit higher and/or move the glass forward a hair. The thing is though, if the glass was correct last year, moving it around now is only delaying the inevitable and when you do replace the w.s. you'll have to find the original glass position.
When I take my targa top off, which is not often, I goop a bead of dielectric grease along the top and in those corners. I figure it's worth a little bit of water blockage.
Putting new weatherstipping on isn't hard, it's just tedious and expensive. But after you're done and driving in a rainstorm and the inside is staying dry, it is totally worth it.
