Petes K words...I have run a 150 shot (plate)thru my superram for 12 years. Probably100+ bottles with no issues. Someone forgot to tell me that it could not work.
Reading some old post on the SR and NOS. I see a 150 shot is ok. I have the NOS 05151 Kit with the digital MSD windows switch. Might get installed this weekend. Is It safer to run a purge on these? and what RPM do you have your windows switch see at? If I'm over looking anythig else do tell.

not trying to hijack, but by the time you buy a window switch and any safety items you are almost at the price of a controller (better prices these days). If going the route of a micro switch (typical kit part for tps/wot) and just a window rpm switch I would recommend having some safety aspects such as Fuel Ratio or fuel pressure switch. Most controllers already have those features and other nice advantages for controlling n20 delivery.
I'm not Pete either, but I have run nitrous in the past. Running a purge line and solenoid simply eliminates air from the nitrous line so when the solenoid opens, a full charge of nitrous mixes immediately with fuel. Without a purge solenoid, air in the lines will exit first resulting in a momentary rich condition and the "hit" won't be as hard. There is really no safety factor involved. Willie
