Default Steering Wheel question

I currently own a 1975 that I love and will hopefully become a family heirloom. I am in 11th grade and I will be going off to college when I graduate and I couldn’t imagine leaving my 75 out in the rain and exposed to the elements (the car has spent its whole life in a garage or a barn) not to mention being a target for vandalism and isn’t the most functional. So I have been saving up and will be buying a C4 to take to college that will be a little more functional (AC, the hatchback, and more reliability). I like some of the characteristics of all of them but overall I have it narrowed down to the 86 or 87 (I love the all-digital display it feels like Kit from Knight Rider). I like everything about the car except for the 2 spoke steering wheel. Now comes my question does anyone know of a conversion kit so you can put the wheel from the 1990 on the older one. I could get over it if there isn’t one.

Not sure but I think the 90 had air bags. There are plenty of aftermarket wheels out there and installation kits for em.

Would you be able to just disable/remove the airbag or will the steering column not accept it?

Happy Holiday's
Welcome aboard.. nice ride to roll in to college
your asking if the 90's steering wheel will fit on the late 80's or your future 1975
1990 is the first year the airbag was incorporated into steering wheel...
it will fit on the 80's C4.. it will not go on the 75 without making up a custom adapter....

try a steering wheel from an 89 suburban. 4 spokes and looks "hytech"
