Mini Ram
How much of a difference would a mini ram make? HP? 1/4 time? Everything has been ported in the intake, I have 24# inj, after market fuel rails, larger runners, and a 52mm TB.

a MR makes a big difference in HP, with a new base and ported you could put out well over 400hp with the right cam (it wont help as much with the stock cam)
your larger runners wont work with it, it has its own runners that are much shorter to increase hp and lessen low torque and it also has its own fuel rails i believe

Or you could do what I am doing... LT1 conversion. I have an LT1 manifold getting ready to go to http://www.lt1intake.com/. Anybody got fuel rails? Also have brand new Hooker 2149's... thanks to Scorp. Trying to talk the money manager into AFR190's as I wrtie. I ALMOST have her convinced :D Going to also go with retro roller cam... look for a writeup with pics within next few months.

Am I missing something. He is talking about a mini ram. It doesn't come with a different base or use seperate runners. It has a base built into it along with the runners. It is basically an LT-1 intake that takes a dist. Are we talking about a super ram?

yes he is talking about the MR, i forgot that it had its own base too. His runners and rails wont work with it
