Are they the same for an '85 and an '86? My local american parts store has tried everywhere and can only get one for the '86 at the moment, they're not listing one specifically for the '86.
My belt is just squeaky, quietens up with some belt dressing, but then it's not long until it squeaks again.

Get a piece of string and wind it along the belt then measure it. Most parts stores can take this measurement and match it with the right belt. Even if you get a belt listed for the '85 it may not fit. You may not know what a PO has done like underdrive pulleys or accessory eliminating set ups. Any mod or different installation may throw off the belt length enough to make the "book" size useless.
I did the AIR elimination to my '85 and had to go with a 1" shorter belt even when the directions to the kit said the OEM belt would work.
Thanks, I had a look at some parts websites but wasn't getting the detail I wanted. Some people are far better at searching than others. I've ordered a belt, hopefully have it for Friday.
