Since i bought it ( MONDAY ) i couldn't get it all the way home, so i had to put it in a local storage untill my mountain thaws out enough to get it home.Kinda tough to get pic's, but i will as soon as possible. I could get pic's of the motor, but can't get far enough away to get the car in a pic.

Yeah, 240 is the official number for an '87. SAE Net, of course, and assuming it is still 100% as delivered stock.
Doesn't sound like a lot, and it isn't by todays standards, but look at the Torque number and compare that to the cars weight - not as bad as it seems at first glance.
The 80's were still the emissions hangover years, don't forget, and the vette was pretty close to the top of the hill at the time. Time does Not stand still, however.
And of course, since it's just a small block Chevy (gen 1), the possibilities for modification are nearly endless..

I'm still here, just been busy with the holidays. Mine still drives around just fine, but I haven't had time to go back to the dyno yet. I'm going to drop by today and pick up the heads at least off the engine so I can drop them at the machine shop.
Maybe if I can bug out of work early enough I'll roll by the dyno.
