OK this is a rather broad question, but I'm looking for a broad answer too, no need to be specific...here it goes...
First off, OK, LT1 auto...
How much to turbo it and what would an estimate on 1/4 times be?
How much to supercharge it and what would an estimate on 1/4 times be?
Secondly, L98 auto...
How much to turbo it and what would an estimate on 1/4 times be?

I'm just looking for a guess here guys on $$$$ and then on track times given that PRIMARILY only those mods, maybe exhaust and then the other components that are kinda necessary. I'm trying to decide which car to buy and I might be getting an AWESOME deal and thus actually having the chance to do this. Thanks again :cheers:

several thousand, but youll have more of a problem of finding where to put the turbos

I know it's gonna be in the high "k"s but I was just wonderin if you guys knew anyone who had supercharged or turboed the lt1 or l98 and what they got out of it for the money.

I think there are plenty of SC kits out there for L98's in the 3-5K range. Turbo kits are kinda rare and usually expensive. I'm putting a SC on my car now and so far have spent just over 3K.

Then you need to build the bottom end to handle boost.
The performance can vary with boost/fuel/compression ratios/ mods.
you can get a 12 -10 second car with turbos.
A stock L-98 on a blower usually can get in the 12's.
There is a twin turbo 87 vette on this forum, he runs 11.2's last I checked. He is aiming for the 10's. I dont know how much it cost to put them on his car.
