It's not a "heavy duty" flasher you need.
You need one designed for use with LED lights.
You will need to switch your mechanical flasher to an electronic flasher in order to eliminate hyper flash and/or to make sure your tail lights work with your flasher engaged. This electronic flasher will make all of your lights, regardless if they are half stock bulbs and half LED's, work just like they are supposed to!
thanks guys i took the new flasher back and exchanged it for another one, i was givin numbers here on CF that the flasher i needed was an
EL2 well friends it reads HEAVY DUTY FLASHER nothing about being electronic..; just the same IT WORKS PERFECT , was a defected part.
thanks for your help

The EL12 is called a heavy duty flasher because it is meant to be used where the user is going to connect a trailer with tail lights on it and the flash rate remains constant and the flasher can handle the extra lamps since the trailer is connected in parallel with the car tail lights. OEM flashers work on current, high current, rapid flashing, low current (like LED's) slow or no flashing.
