Need Help LT4/4.10 owners !!
Gears are in !! Now I need to recalibrate speedometer. How to? Prefer not to install in-line electronic device.Replace driven gear, drive gear, flash EE prom?

Hey, nice mods & beautiful Vette - I should know :)
Try an HPP-III, that's what I did. No muss, no fuss, and you can adapt it to different tire sizes, raise the rev limit, etc.

For $200, Brian reprogrammed my 96 LT4. He did the gear swap, eliminated the rear O2 check and the AIR pump check, changed the fan turn on temp, changed the traction control so it isn't so aggressive, desensitized the knock sensors and changed the fuel shutoff during decel so it doesn't pop. He also changed the snapshot time frame that is used to update the various compensation registers (for the a/f ratio). The car runs much better now.
He does do mail order, also does dyno tuning all over the Chicago area including Speed Inc. I watched him tack on an extra 17 HP to a 95 LT1 f-body with an LT4 HOT cam kit...330 RWHP!

Used a Hypertech myself. Bought the diagnostic module which is great for clearing codes and datalogging.
Another option is this guy at http://www.pcmforless.com. Guys on camaroz28.com have had very good luck with him and his prices are reasonable too.

If you decide to go the gear route. I will be willing to sell you my set. We can work out a price if you are intrested. I have the LPE set in & am taking them out since I have LT1 edit now. Either way is fine. Just thought I would mention it.
BTW My set has around 3K on them & they are dead on.
