GS Hash Marks, exact dimensions?
Anyone have the exact numbers? I'm gonna get them painted on my car, but the paint guy needs the dimensions. I'm thinking 11"x4"?

I don't have the dimensions for you, but don't forget to get the correct spacing and angle. Good luck.
BTW, if you don't get an answer, the next time I have the cover off, I'll check for you. Right now it's dark and the covers wet. (sorry) I'm not sure I have anything around here to check the angle. Have to check my daughters school supplies. :D

Did you email me for the measurements? Someone did and I am not sure who it was. If it was you, i am sorry that I couldn't get the exact measurements for you. To do that I would need to get angles and everything. If you are not the person that sent me the email, then you might be able to get the info off of here. You would have to make mock ups of course out of paper or something.

Since you want to get them painted on, I would suggest finding someone that has a GS and can trace them for you and either mail that to you or fax it to you. That way you can give them exactly what you need.

Well, the guy that's painting my car used to have a GS, SO...but he never really measured the strips.

Re: GS Hash Marks, exact dimensions? (TIMSPEED)
hey buddy, I gotcha.
2.75" wide
1" apart
9" long on one side, 9.5" on the other. (because of the angle to make them flat at the top.
from the peak at the corner of the hood, where it goes from the side to top, to the "top right" of the hash marks is 37"
let me know if you need anything else

Tim,
You might want to check with your local dealer. The factory decals come with a template for placement and you could trace them off of it.

Got a ruler...
The First Stripe
Top: 5 3/8" Bottom: 3 5/8"
Left and right sides are 8 3/4"
With a very light curve...
Spacing Between The Stripes
Top: 1 3/16" Bottom: 1 1/8"
The Second Stripe
Top: 3 1/5" Bottom: 4"
Left: 9" Right 9 1/2"
Little more curve then the second stripe.
Hope this helps

Now that I'm awake, or maybe just noticed, that top lenght on the first stripe seems to be a little long?
