Default Msd 6al box

Hi, I need help/advice mounting a MSD 6AL Box. I have a 1994 Corvette. The only place that might work in the engine compartment may be behind intake manifold. I will have to remove the EGR valve and fabricate a flat plate on the firewall.....seems like a lot of work. Does anyone have any ideas? All ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Pete,

Thanks appreciate the info. I like the idea of mounting it over the battery. The only issue is that I have a LT1 engine....the coil is on the front passenger side of the engine. The drivers side head light pocket would be my 2nd choice. Thanks again!!

Nice....I'm stuck with an airbag in that spot. I wouldn't mind taking out the airbag and placing the MSD in there...I don't know how to shut off the airbag light?
