Hello. I need some help getting my baby up and running! It is a 1988 C4. It will start, run for about 3 to 4 seconds then stop. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, cap , plugs, wires, rotor, ignition control module, fuel pump relay and idle air module! My last option is the car alarm itself, after market. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know.

 

Is it throwing any codes?

 

.......... Could be either the ignition module or the electronic spark control ... it sounds like one of these sensors is not telling the ECM that the engine is running ... the fuel pump will only run for 3-4 seconds 'til it gets word that the engine is spinning at least 400 rpm ..........
