Default just ran the car....

I finaly got a few passes on the car and was pleasently suprised.. The first pass I bogged it reall bad and it ran a 13.49 at 104.69 then the second pass I sliped the clutch and it ran a 13.35 at 105.22. I really didnt think the car would run that fast i thought it would be a 13.9-14.0 :spam so i thought a 13.3 was great for the little mods I have. Anyways just thought I would share this with you all thanks

Good Job. You don't want to go back and try it again, do you? Maybe with a tweek here and a tweek there, it'll run just a little faster.

Nice times, with a little practice you could milk a tenth or two more out of it.

Very nice. Plus the temp was likely in the 70-80deg F range. That's worth 1mph and maybe a 10th compared to E-Town runs.

If you know the temp and baro you can use equations on my site to normalize time slip data for weather conditions. This allows you to compare runs from week to week to monitor improvements.

What type of 60' times were you running? I was only able to get 13.8 out of mine stock, but I had a slipping clutch as well.

Funny I spend all kinds of money on a cam and such to get me all the way down to a 13.6. After replacing the clutch I knocked that down to 13.0.

I'd like to think I could have run mid to low 13's stock.

How is the track this year? I assume you're running at Bithlo? I always seemed to run better in the towerside lane there...unfortunately, the weather's getting hotter, and that track is horrible in the middle of summer! I may try and get out there before it gets too bad, however.

I noticed 10" sub in your mods, next run, you might want to consider putting a hatch vent on, play some loud funk music (with lots of bass) for an extra turbo blast out of the hole.

Just my $.02 I wouldn't go with a Centerforce clutch. People just seem to have better luck with Star and Mcleod.
