85 idle

Default 85 idle

car idles about 650 with screw all the way back then has surge to 900 have changed iac and tps have looked for vacum leaks gauge stays at a steady 18 lb of vac at 650

When you replaced the parts, did you follow this to set the idle?

When you changed the IAC, did you removed the TB and clean it?

Note the first thing that is suggested is to remove the TB and clean it. One of the primary reasons for this, IMO, is to clean out the IAC passages. The IAC passages in the TB being dirty is likely the cause of your original idle problems.

I did the adjustment process w/o removing the TB and my idle is much better. However, as soon as the weather improves it is something I will do.

cleaned tb but not sure if i followed the set idle will try that today
