code32 help
I keep getting a code 32 fault but I tested my egr valve and it is working ok mid america offers a switch for 25.oo could this be the problem or am I wasting my time and money?? ( I would cut the wire if I knew which one ) :chevy

when does the SES light come on, sometimes just tightening your gas cap until it clicks will clear the code.

I have had code 32 trouble with both my 89 and my 90. Let me guess, the light trips only when on the highway or in a steady cruising mode. never when driving around town. Well on my 89 after I checked all my vacume lines for a leak and replaced my egr valve I still got the light , I was thumbing through my mid america catalog and found the egt temp switch with a note above its picture and it said, egt temp switch #1 fault for code 32. So i changed it and out went the light and have not seen it since. CHANGE THE SWITCH. Unfortunitly my 90 does not have a egt temp switch , but thats another story. Check vacume lines first then change the switch. good luck.
