I have an '84 crossfire with 120,000 miles on it. I can feel a lot of play in the throttle shafts and it has an unsteady idle, etc. all the classic symptoms. Also, even though the two throttles seem about the same at idle, one does not open as much as the other at full throttle. I don't see anything in the manual about a wide open throttle adjustment.
I was thinking it might be easier to get the whole thing (top plate)serviced as an assembly. Does anyone know of a reliable service who will check out the whole thing, new bushings, injector rebuild & test, IAC motor test, etc? There was a service like this in Florida listed on E-Bay last year, I wrote down the phone number but I don't know if they were any good.
Might try this website www.crossfireinjection.net then check out their services. I have purchased some of their items, but haven't used them for work. They are just a suggestion.

I met this guy at Bloomington Gold a few years back and kept his card. The folks in the Chicago area seem to like his work. He had a rebuilt crossfire set up at his booth and it looked beautiful.
