you made our work easilly now with this tread and help from the best ppl here...
Mike..thanx for this, it will help me to do my job easilly now...i have to do it on my own too..since the trans guy did a lausy job and my pump gone after 60 mils...so from that time i deicided that only i will touch my vette))))...

Good luck with cruisin' arround with your vette and hope that u do next 250k like before without an issue)..

Way to go Mike. Great job. I consider myself an accomplished mechanic, but auto trannies are voodoo to me. I have been inside them to install shift kits, but not deep inside like you did. You should be commended. One note for all to observe; if you are running the car on jackstands (especially up to 100mph, the 1/2 shafts are at a pretty severe angle and it makes it tough on the ujoints. Put a jack on each side (the shock mounts works fine), and lift each side up a little. Don't take the weight of the car off the jackstands, but just even out the angle a little bit. Your ujoints will thank you a few thousand miles down the road. Willie
