ALDL Spark Adder Question
I can tell when I activate the real time monitoring with the Auto X-Ray scanner ... AND when I run Datamaster , that the engine rpm flares upward . I have seen in other threads that there is a spark adder for ALDL but I don't see it anywhere on Tuner-Pro RT and 32B XDF.
My main concern/question is that if there is spark being added ... how much ? And how to tune spark advance with the added spark for ALDL ? Does it only affect idle ... or is it increased across the board ? If spark is being added globally when datalogging then the whole premise of tuning spark is corrupted by whatever value the increase is ???

Apparently you can remove the 10k resistor after datalogging starts and that will disable the spark adder

If you have tuning equipment you could run a 6E xdf and bin in place of your 32B.
6E has provision for adjusting the spark adder value
