How do I get the radio out of my '94? My CD player doesn't work so I need to get it out of the dash and send it somewhere. It is supposed to be a pretty easy job but I'm not quite sure how to get the dash pieces out of the way to slide the unit out. Can anybody give me some quick instructions?
1) Remove the lid cover of your center console storage (9/32 socket will work) 4 or 5 screws I believe.
2) Remove the two torx screws in your air vent above your warning light panel.
3) Remove the 9/32 screws under the drink holder and the ones around the center console lid and that should allow you to life up the area around your shifter.
4) Remove the 9/32 screws under the shifter cover towards the front that hold down your radio panel cover. Should be three of them.
5) Remove radio faceplate cover and remove fasteners.
