Default Need help with timing.

I have rebuilt my motor got everything set back to the right setting. My trouble is the motor will run for a second or 3 and cut off. it cuts off even faster if gas is added. I follow the step that I seen here but I got to be missing something.

Can someone please post the step by step way to get my motor to stay running.

Sounds like you have no fuel.
Have you checked fuel delivery?

And posting year and engine helps

It is a L98. I can hear the fuel filling the fuel rails. I do think it got to be something with the Fuel too.

All very well but how much pressure have you got at the rails? Not enough pressure ; no spray

The fact it fires up shows you have spark

Could a air bubble be a problem? Or, will the fuel system bleed it out?

It will
but if pump is weak or the fuel filter blocked you will get some pressure build up in the rails when key turned on
then the moment the injectors open that pressure is lost

What is the best way to bleed the fuel lines?

The fuel filter is only 3 months old.

Just one thing you might want to look at as well, is the oil pressure unit. If you do not develop, I think 20 psi you will not trip the fuel pump relay. To maintain your pump in the run state. The pump will start but only for a few seconds and will not maintain pressure. I had a problem with my 88 and solved it with the oil pressure sender unit. It would try and start then die out, let it re prime and it would do the same thing. You can check it by grounding the wire but you need to know you have oil pressure first.
I hope this helps
Good luck

I do have the valve covers off and before the rebuild the the oil would slowly come out of the rockers and after the motor warm up the oil pressure would drop. That is why I started the rebuild.
