Default 84 383 Swap need help

I'm planning on replacing the 350 with a 383 stroker with 385HP. I want to put the holley stealth ram MPFI on it and replace the crossfire. I have a 700R4 with a fairbanks shift kit in it. I want to continue to use the 700R4. I'm wondering if this will be a good set up. I was told that I may have problems with my lock up converter. Also I'm afraid I might have some other issues with the ECM. I want to continue to use Fuel Injection. Does anyone know anything more about this, or anything else that I could do.I'm also planning on driving the car as a daily driver.

You don't need the Holley MPFI just the Intake and swap over to a Small cap Dizzy. I would also buy some Bosch III injectors to compliment the build.
There is another member (qws) that is running an HSR with the 84 pcm.
Will it fit under your hood?
Look at this..

I was looking around today. I saw something else I could look into. The sell bored out Crossfire TBI from 46mm to 51mm. Could i maybe do this and go to a rampage intake manifold and get some higher PSI injectors with a Stage II Hyper chip. Would it be a little better set up. I want something that wont mess up the Trans. I was told to be careful and do my research cause i could burn it up. Just making sure I covering all the options in order to see what the best way would be. Thanks for the input I might consider doing the HSR its a little cheaper. what would I do as far as a computer to run the throttle body that the HSR requires.

I ran a 383 in my 84 with a 700R4 and a SuperRam. If your trans is in good shape, it will be fine. I just ran a switch for the torque converter lockup signal to my console (actually used the 4+3 stock switch). I would use the lockup in high gear on the freeway just like and extra gear.
