Default Power Brake Booster Check Valve

I've got the hissing sound inside and a rock hard brake pedal, so after doing the search, I see that this is a common problem on late C4's (bad power brake booster). I am replacing the Power Brake booster on the Red One (95'). The Cardone replacement has a totally different check valve, than stock. The Autozone instructions tell you to pull the check valve off the old one and replace it on the new one? Is this correct?

Secondly, do you just pull on it? Is it seated with a rubber o-ring or something of that nature? Inquiring minds wanna know!

Yes and yes, just give it a tug and it'll pop right out.

That's what I thought! Just wanted to make sure. There's a big old sticker on the check valve stating 'Warranty is Void if Removed'! And it's a bizarre looking sucker, with three outlets. Thanks so much! Now for the fun part (two Corvette repairs at once! The Blue 87' and the Red 95'!).
